Sep 21, 2010 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Adam Kay, CEO of Cotton Australia, says the impending cotton crop could be one of the biggest ever following "phenomenal rainfalls". Kay says this compares to 2007, which saw the smallest crop in 30 years. He notes that farmers may be reluctant to sell water due to a strong cotton market. Cotton exports could be worth $A1 billion in 2010-11, according to official forecasts.
