U.S. EXPORT SALES FOR WEEKENDING 11/25/2010

Cotton:  Net Upland sales of 323,000 running bales were up 21 percent from the previous week, but down 26 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for China (193,100 RB), Turkey (62,500 RB), Bangladesh (19,700 RB), Colombia (10,000 RB), and Brazil (5,100 RB).  Net sales of 269,000 RB for delivery in 2011/12 were mainly for China (264,600 RB).  Exports of 196,500 RB were up 7 percent from the previous week and 39 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The primary destinations were China (90,900 RB), Turkey (29,400 RB), Mexico (12,900 RB), and Brazil (8,800 RB).  Net American Pima sales of 37,900 RB were up noticeably from the previous week and from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for China (31,700 RB), Japan (2,800 RB), and Peru (1,500 RB).  Net sales of 7,000 RB for delivery in 2011/12 were for China (6,600 RB) and Japan (400 RB).  Exports of 4,900 RB were primarily to Pakistan (3,100 RB), Japan (900 RB), and Taiwan (400 RB).
