MUMBAI, April 6 (Reuters) - India's cotton output in the year ending September is projected at 30.18 million bales (of 170 kg each), a trade association said on Tuesday.

"Cotton Association of India (CAI) estimated the cotton crop for the current season at 30.18 million bales," the trade body of cotton industry players said in an e-mailed statement.

The association estimated India's cotton exports at 7.2 million bales, the statement showed.
