April 15 (Bloomberg) -- India’s cotton output will rise to a record 25 million bales in the year starting Aug. 1 from an estimated 23.5 million a year earlier, a U.S. Department of Agriculture unit said.
India’s domestic consumption will increase to 20.1 million bales from 19.2 million, the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service said in a report issued today on its Web site.
