Cotton:  Net Upland sales of 487,500 running bales for delivery in 2009/10--a marketing-year high--were up 52 percent from the previous week and 49 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for China (285,300 RB), Turkey (34,700 RB), Vietnam (28,600 RB), Taiwan (25,400 RB), and Indonesia (23,300 RB).  Decreases were reported for unknown destinations (600 RB), Guatemala (600 RB), and Colombia (400 RB).  Net sales of 5,300 RB for delivery in 2010/11 were for Vietnam.  Exports of 149,500 RB were down 24 percent from the previous week and 1 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The primary destinations were China (56,800 RB), Turkey (29,400 RB), Mexico (18,100 RB), Thailand (10,300 RB), and Vietnam (8,900 RB).  Net American Pima sales of 10,200 RB were down 10 percent from the previous week and 21 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were primarily for China (2,900 RB, including 900 RB switched from unknown destinations), Taiwan (2,500 RB), Indonesia (1,900 RB), and India (1,000 RB).  There were no sales reported for delivery in 2010/11.  Exports of 26,600 RB were up 3 percent from the previous week, but down 15 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The primary destinations were India (7,700 RB), Pakistan (6,100 RB), China (5,000 RB), South Korea (2,600 RB), and Turkey (1,800 RB).
