Calm market

The quotations in New York dropped under the 100 cents limit in the reporting week. The Bremen CIF Index showed further decreasing tendency as well. The price development led to furthermore to a buyers΄ attitude of observance and wait and see. With the background of the annual work holidays the market is very quiet. From overseas a careful attitude was reported, too. The consumption is still in a movement of decrease, buyers are reluctant to buy in advance. Therefore new business developed only in a sluggish way.

Turnovers were reported in Argentinian for prompt delivery and 4th quarter, West Africa prompt delivery and 4th quarter, Spain for 4th quarter and Brazil for 4th quarter.

Further business was made in the LS/ELS-range with USA PIMA, 3rd quarter.
