LS / ELS Cotton on Focus

There has not been any substantial change of the situation in comparison to the previous week, neither for the trade nor for the processing industry. Cotton prices have continuously been moving sideways. Turnover during the reported week almost exclusively applied to the LS/ELS-range for nearby delivery.

Medium staple cotton from West Africa was ordered for near dates.

LS/ELS-need was satisfied by the following descriptions: US SJV Acala rgd. and sgd. for prompt and Israel Pima as well US Pima for the 4th quarter 2011.
