EURATEX is to host a conference examining the regional and national dimension of textile research and innovation in Europe next month.

The conference, taking place in Brussels, aims to showcase the strategies and activities of national and regional platforms, clusters and networks from across Europe.

It will be linked with commencement of the ERA-Net project, CrossTexNet which will work towards better cross-border co-ordination of national and regional funding programmes for textile research and innovation in Europe, according to EURATEX.

Speakers are drawn from across Europe and include Bill Macbeth from The Textile Centre of Excellence, Huddersfield, UK, Stephan Verin from Crosstexnet, France and Klaus Huneke from Germany’s Textile Research Council.

The conference will take place at Hotel HUSA President Park Hotel, Brussels, Belgium, from 24-25th March.
