Cotton:  Net Upland sales of 86,200 running bales for delivery in 2009/10 were down 67 percent from the previous week and 46 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for Turkey (29,600 RB), South Korea (11,000 RB, including 300 RB switched from Thailand), Bangladesh (10,700 RB), and Taiwan (9,500 RB). Decreases were reported for Argentina (3,600 RB), El Salvador (1,300 RB), and Vietnam (1,200 RB).  Net sales of 26,600 RB for delivery in 2010/11 were for Brazil (17,600 RB), Turkey (4,400 RB), Bangladesh (4,000 RB), and Mexico (500 RB).  Exports for own account were reported for China (10,400 RB).  Exports of 297,200 RB were up 4 percent from the previous week and 5 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The primary destinations were China (112,000 RB), Turkey (53,700 RB), Mexico (35,200 RB), Indonesia (19,100 RB), and Taiwan (12,200 RB).  Net American Pima sales of 9,200 RB were down 38 percent from the previous week and 30 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were primarily for China (4,400 RB), and Thailand (1,900 RB, including 200 RB switched from Japan).  Decreases were reported for Egypt (1,100 RB).  Net sales of 6,400 RB for delivery in 2010/11 were for Japan (4,000 RB), Egypt (1,300 RB), and Mexico (1,100 RB).  Exports of 11,500 RB were down 26 percent from the previous week, but up 14 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The primary destinations were China (3,100 RB), India (2,500 RB), Germany (2,000 RB), and Pakistan (1,700 RB).
