Cotton:  Net Upland sales of 242,100 running bales for delivery in 2009/10 were down 7 percent from the previous week, but up 2 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for China (145,000 RB), Peru (17,400 RB), Turkey (14,100 RB), Bangladesh (12,200 RB), and Indonesia (9,000 RB, including 200 RB switched from Japan).  Decreases were reported for El Salvador (1,400 RB).  Net sales of 162,300 RB for delivery in 2010/11 were mainly for unknown destinations (54,100 RB), El Salvador (18,500 RB), China (17,600 RB), and Turkey (16,800 RB).  Decreases were reported for Guatemala (9,500 RB).  Exports of 272,700 RB were up 5 percent from the previous week, but unchanged from the prior 4-week average.  The primary destinations were China (90,300 RB), Turkey (49,900 RB), Mexico (25,900 RB), Vietnam (16,500 RB), Pakistan (12,600 RB), and Thailand (12,300 RB).  Net American Pima sales of 2,300 RB were down 45 percent from the previous week and 44 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for Thailand (400 RB), China (400 RB), and India (400 RB).  Net sales of 18,800 RB for delivery in 2010/11 were mainly for Pakistan (17,000 RB).  Exports of 5,000 RB were up 15 percent from the previous week, but down 29 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The primary destinations were Pakistan (1,700 RB), India (1,400 RB), China (800 RB), and Japan (400 RB).
