Cotton:  Net Upland sales of 780,000 running bales--a marketing-year high--for delivery in 2010/11 were up 54 percent from the previous week and up noticeably from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for China (326,700 RB, including 300 RB switched from South Korea and decreases of 5,000 RB), Turkey (323,600 RB), Mexico (39,700 RB), Bangladesh (31,500 RB), Indonesia (15,500 RB), and Peru (14,300 RB).  Decreases were reported for Chile (3,200 RB).  Net sales of 50,600 RB for delivery in 2011/12 were mainly for Bangladesh (16,500 RB), Turkey (16,000 RB), and Thailand (10,400 RB).  Exports for own account were reported for China (12,700 RB) and Turkey (200 RB).  Exports of 159,200 RB were up 41 percent from the previous week and 5 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The primary destinations were China (72,800 RB), Mexico (22,100 RB), Turkey (14,900 RB), and Vietnam (8,000 RB).  Net American Pima sales of 11,800 RB were down 27 percent from the previous week and 15 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were primarily for China (4,500 RB), Thailand (1,300 RB), Peru (1,000 RB), and Germany (900 RB).  Exports of 400 RB were to Mexico (200 RB), Pakistan (100 RB), and Japan (100 RB).
