Cotton:  Net Upland sales of 556,700 running bales were down 29 percent from the previous week, but up 14 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for China (312,200 RB, including 500 RB switched from South Korea and decreases of 7,400 RB), Turkey (64,000 RB), Indonesia (45,000 RB, including 4,400 RB switched from China, 400 switched from Japan, and decreases of 500 RB), Thailand (30,900 RB, including 800 RB switched from Japan), Vietnam (18,400 RB), and Brazil (18,000 RB).  Decreases were reported for Guatemala (800 RB) and Canada (500 RB).  Net sales of 74,900 RB for delivery in 2011/12 were mainly for Thailand (35,300 RB) and Turkey (29,400 RB).  Optional origin sales of 26,500 RB for delivery in 2010/11 were for China.  Exports for own account were reported for China (12,900 RB) and Turkey (300 RB).  Exports of 177,800 RB were up 12 percent from the previous week and 30 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The primary destinations were China (76,800 RB), Mexico (23,500 RB), Vietnam (20,300 RB), and Thailand (8,500 RB).  Net American Pima sales of 10,300 RB were down 13 percent from the previous week and 33 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were primarily for China (3,900 RB), Japan (2,400 RB), India (2,200 RB), and Switzerland (900 RB).  Net sales of 5,100 RB for delivery in 2011/12 were mainly for China (1,800 RB), India (1,400 RB), and Japan (1,100 RB).  Exports of 500 RB were for China (400 RB) and Mexico (100 RB).
