Cotton:  Net Upland sales of 491,400 running bales were up 14 percent from the previous week and 12 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for China (213,300 RB), Turkey (184,200 RB), Peru (23,500 RB), Vietnam (15,400 RB, including 1,800 RB switched from China), and Indonesia (12,200 RB, including 1,700 RB switched from Japan).  Decreases were reported for El Salvador (400 RB).  Net sales of 43,800 RB for delivery in 2011/12 were mainly for Turkey (12,000 RB), Malaysia (8,800 RB), and Japan (8,400 RB).  Decreases were reported for China (2,700 RB).  Exports of 142,000 RB were down 2 percent from the previous week, but up 29 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The primary destinations were China (68,200 RB), Turkey (17,700 RB), Mexico (15,200 RB), and Thailand (9,100 RB).  Net American Pima sales of 12,400 RB were down 54 percent from the previous week, but up 7 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for China (5,300 RB), India (2,500 RB), and Japan (2,000 RB).  Net sales of 9,100 RB for delivery in 2011/12 were mainly for India (3,100 RB), Peru (2,200 RB), China (1,700 RB), and Japan (1,000 RB).  There were no sales reported during the week.
