Cotton:  Net Upland sales 261,600 running bales were up 37 percent from the previous week and up noticeably from the prior 4-week average.  Increases reported for China (100,400 RB), Turkey (36,700 RB), Indonesia (28,300 RB), and Bangladesh (21,300 RB), were partially offset by decreases for unknown destinations (2,200 RB).  Net sales of 238,000 RB for delivery in 2011/12 were mainly for China (174,400 RB) and Thailand (27,800 RB).  Exports for own account were reported for China (5,400 RB).  Exports of 362,500 RB--a marketing-year high--were up 12 percent from the previous week and 27 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The primary destinations were China (95,300 RB), Turkey (64,800 RB), Thailand (29,300 RB), Mexico (28,200 RB), Pakistan (25,100 RB), and Indonesia (23,500 RB).  Net American Pima sales of 20,000 RB were noticeably from the previous week and from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for China (17,600 RB), Japan (1,100 RB), and Pakistan (900 RB).  Decreases were reported for Switzerland (200 RB).  Net sales of 12,900 RB for delivery in 2011/12 were for China (6,100 RB), Peru (2,600 RB), and Taiwan (2,000 RB).  Exports of 32,300 RB were primarily to China (16,000 RB), India (4,500 RB), Peru (2,800 RB), and Pakistan (2,400 RB).
