Cotton:  Net Upland sales of 190,500 running bales were down 41 percent from the previous week and 46 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for Bangladesh (44,600 RB), Turkey (35,100 RB), China (22,300 RB, including 1,300 RB switched from Japan and decreases of 3,200 RB), Indonesia (20,000 RB, including 400 RB switched from unknown destinations), and Pakistan (18,700 RB).  Net sales of 57,600 RB for delivery in 2011/12 were mainly for Turkey (27,800 RB) and Thailand (12,600 RB).  Exports for own account were reported for China (10,200 RB).  Exports of 305,200 RB were down 6 percent from the previous week, but up 44 percent from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were China (140,800 RB), Turkey (39,600 RB), Thailand (18,800 RB), and Indonesia (15,800 RB).  Net American Pima sales of 7,900 RB were down 78 percent from the previous week and 68 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for China (4,300 RB), Pakistan (3,000 RB), and Japan (400 RB).  Net sales of 2,300 RB for delivery in 2011/12 were for Japan (1,400 RB) and China (900 RB).  Exports of 19,500 RB were primarily to China (8,100 RB), Pakistan (2,200 RB), Indonesia (2,100 RB), and Taiwan (2,000 RB).
