Cotton:  Net Upland sales of 314,800 running bales were up 65 percent from the previous week and 14 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for China (144,700 RB, including 500 RB switched from South Korea and decreases of 100 RB), Turkey (52,000 RB), Bangladesh (30,300 RB), Thailand (24,000 RB, including 400 RB switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 2,100 RB), and Brazil (8,800 RB).  Decreases were reported for Japan (900 RB).  Net sales of 60,900 RB for delivery in 2011/12 were mainly for Thailand (21,900 RB) and Indonesia (15,200 RB).  Exports for own account were reported for China (36,700 RB).  Exports of 316,900 RB were up 4 percent from the previous week and 26 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The primary destinations were China (120,200 RB), Turkey (50,800 RB), Indonesia (27,700 RB), and Vietnam (18,200 RB).  Net American Pima sales of 11,400 RB were up 44 percent from the previous week, but down 52 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were reported for India (4,238 RB), Japan (4,000 RB), and Pakistan (2,600 RB).  Decreases were reported for Switzerland (400 RB) and China (400 RB).  Net sales of 18,300 RB for delivery in 2011/12 were for Pakistan (9,900 RB), India (5,000 RB), and China (2,200 RB).  Exports of 12,600 RB were primarily to China (5,200 RB), Pakistan (2,200 RB), India (1,700 RB), and Bangladesh (1,100 RB).
