Η καλλιέργεια στο Τέξας είναι βελτιωµένη σε σχέση µε πέρυσι, µε τους αναλυτές να εκτιµούν πιθανό το σενάριο αναθεώρησης της αµερικανικής παραγωγής σε υψηλότερα επίπεδα. Από την άλλη µεριά έχουµε κάποιες καιρικές καταστάσεις (πχ. Τυφώνες) οι οποίοι µπορούν να επηρεάσουν τη βαµβακοπαραγωγή.
