Ανθεκτική αγορά, λόγω κερδοσκόπων, παρά το πάγωμα της ζήτησης
Η αγορά εξακολουθεί να κατευθύνεται κυρίως από τις κινήσεις των κερδοσκόπων. Χαρακτηριστικό παράδειγμα είναι πως ενώ η πρόσφατη έκθεση προσφοράς και ζήτησης βάμβακος από το USDA χαρακτηρίστηκε ως ελαφρά πτωτική, δεδομένου ότι σημειώθηκε αύξηση της εκτίμησης παραγωγής και επακόλουθα αύξηση αποθεμάτων, το βαμβάκι διατηρήθηκε γύρω από τα 81 σεντς.
